This is a very fine wine from Val di Toro. It has a very pure nose of red cherries and redcurrant andWith time there is a hint of leather and cedar. The palate is well-balanced with succulent tannins, good acidity, just the right amount of opulence with a sour twist on the finish to give it a little edge. Very fine. Tasted April 2011.
